Patty Jenkins directed this long-anticipated story of Wonder Woman, or Diana Prince, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior and the daughter of Zeus and Queen Hippolyta. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana’s life changes when she rescues an American pilot who has crashed on their shores and is then pursued by German troops of WWI. The Amazons defeat the invaders, but Diana leaves the safety of her home, convinced she can stop the warring in the world beyond. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny which will lead her to be a founder member of the Justice League.
