The Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring is the first film in this landmark trilogy directed by Peter Jackson and which took home 11 Oscars two decades ago. Set in Middle-Earth, the story tells of the Dark Lord Sauron, who seeks the One Ring, which contains part of his soul, in order to return to power. The Ring has been inherited by a young hobbit named Frodo. The fate of Middle-earth hangs in the balance as Frodo and eight companions (who form the Fellowship of the Ring) begin their quest, journeying to Mount Doom in the land of Mordor, the only place where the Ring can be destroyed.
HotHouse Music would not only go on to collaborate in the next two instalments, but on the series of Hobbit films too.
