Based on the hugely popular novel of the same name, the adaptaion of Me Before You is a reminder to embrace life. Once a successful banker and active sportsman, Will Traynor has been left a tetraplegic after a motorcycle crash. His wealthy parents hire Lou Clark as a permanent companion for Will, but he is initially cold towards her. As the two begin to bond, Lou hears an argument between Will’s parents and learns that he has agreed to postpone for six months his plans to travel for an assisted suicide, making her determined to show him that life is worth living, which leads to the two falling in love.
