Cats

Featuring a wealth of well-known songs, Cats is a musical fantasy based on the Andrew Lloyd Webber stage musical, which was adapted from T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats. Victoria, a young white cat, is thrown out of a car in the streets of London in the middle of the night. The alley cats witnessing this introduce themselves to her as the Jellicles and eventually befriend her. They show her their world as they prepare for the Jellicle Ball, an annual ceremony where cats compete to be chosen to go to the Heaviside Layer and be granted a new life.
