As a child, Bruce Wayne witnesses the murder of his parents and as an adult, he travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice. On his return to Gotham he becomes the new head of Wayne Enterprises, portraying the image of a shallow millionaire playboy, while tackling criminals and organised crime as his vigilante alter-ego Batman. When Dr Jonathan Crane aka The Scarecrow releases toxic hallucinogenics into the Gotham City water supply, immediate action must be taken to save the city from mass hysteria.
