Klaus Badelt European Representation

With the release of the highly acclaimed summer blockbuster PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL Klaus Badelt established himself as the hottest composer on the block.

Klaus started his musical career producing records for renowned local and international artists such as HARALD JUHNKE, JOCELYN BROWN and CHAKA KHAN. Klaus then branched into composing scores for dozens of movies and commercials in his native Germany where he still enjoys a strong relationship with major film and TV companies like RTL and ZDF. In 1997, Klaus moved his musical home to Los Angeles and by 2002 he had earned the respect of all the major studios. In addition to Pirates of the Caribbean (Disney) Klaus has written the music for such highly acclaimed films as THE RECRUIT (Disney) starring Al Pacino and Colin Farrell; BASIC (Sony/Intermedia) starring John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson; K-19: THE WIDOWMAKER (Paramount) and THE PLEDGE (Warner Bros.) starring Jack Nicholson and Benicio del Toro.

In 2004 Klaus is enjoying the diversity of working with animation director Jun Falkenstein on CURIOUS GEORGE, produced by Ron Howard for Universal Pictures and writing for Pitof’s upcoming feature CATWOMAN.
